Refurbished - Modded 2609 Family Console

Intellivision Collector is happy to offer Refurbished Intellivision 2609 consoles with the below services performed.

This item will consist of:

• A used Intellivision 2609 console 
• Console repair performed if required
• Install "No drill" RCA jack module so the original case is not altered or modified.
• Fully test the unit afterwards (including testing with the System changer module)

Logic Board upgrades:

• Replacement of all capacitors
• Replacement of the high rate of failure twin 3609 transistors
• Replace the old brittle ribbon cable with a pigtail header 
• Perform the System Changer Enable mod
• Install a Composite AV board
• Test for all proper voltages & Signals using an oscilloscope
• Perform a complete system test using both the M201 V4.1b Test Cartridge & the FW Diagnostics Test Cartridge to ensure no faults

Hand Controllers:

• Install new controller Mylars for optimal performance
• full cleaning of the interior of the controllers
• Install new disc metal sticker
• Perform a complete controller test using both the M201 V4.1b Test Cartridge & the FW Diagnostics Test Cartridge to ensure no faults

Power supply:

• Repair if required
• Replace all capacitors
• Replace the power resistor
• Replace the ribbon cable connector with a straight pin header
• Test for all proper voltages & Signals using an oscilloscope

*Note* - The outside cases are not new and may have physical scratches / defects on them. These are used consoles that have been purchased in large quantities for re-sale or repair.

**Note** - These units are mainly built on demand. Pease allow additional time for building / testing (just a few days). If I have pre-built units, I will have stock showing. If you see an "Out of Stock" message showing, it just means that I will have to build one on demand. Once I no longer have materials available, I will remove this listing.
